Are you planning to create your dream kitchen?
You might already have specific ideas in mind, like a professional range or a combination steam oven, wall oven, and designer coffee maker.
In this article, you’ll learn all about the best appliance brands for your dream kitchen, along with their pros and cons.
We’ll also cover common issues that aren’t often discussed when buying luxury brands and provide tips on how to avoid them.
The goal of this article is to give you all the information you need to get started on your kitchen project—not just the hype, but the real considerations too.
Let’s get started.
Why This Article Is Worth Your Time
I’ve been working at Yale full-time for 38 years, and many of our staff have 20-plus years of experience.
We’ve also completed over 300,000 service calls in the last ten years.
I lived in Brookline, where I redesigned my galley kitchen before selling the home and moving to Boston.
In 2013, I renovated my apartment, and in 2017, I redeveloped a burnt-out Brownstone.
We also renovated our Boston store in 2015, after a support beam issue triggered a two-million-dollar renovation.
Our Framingham store was built in 2016, converting an old Salvation Army store.
In 2020, we rebuilt an old appliance store, tearing off the facade and fixing several other problems.
Last year, we designed a 220,000-square-foot warehouse with a 12,000-square-foot store in Norton.
So, we truly understand what you’re about to undertake.
With all this experience, I’ve learned from mistakes and really appreciate the ideas we’ve incorporated into other projects.
That’s why I’ve written this article—to help guide you through what’s ahead.
If you’re facing any issues, download one of our buying guides.

Good luck, and feel free to leave a comment below with any questions.
Now the Good News (For Now)
During the pandemic years of 2020-2022, everyone was renovating—what else was there to do?
At that time, we advised placing orders a year in advance due to supply chain issues.
I even received a thank-you note from a customer after delivering her Thermador speed oven in 18 months—six months ahead of schedule.
Now, in 2024-2025, manufacturers have overproduced for a demand that no longer exists.
This means you should wait for a sale or special promotion, which typically occur around the holidays.
You don’t need to rush and buy a year in advance anymore. For example, we can now deliver a Sub-Zero refrigerator within a week instead of a year.
Of course, this could change with the Port strike scheduled for January 15th. Even so, you’ll likely have some leeway until the end of February.
What Makes a Kitchen Luxury or High-End?
Luxury kitchens focus on premium refrigeration, cooking appliances, and ventilation.
You’ll also find better dishwasher options, but refrigeration, cooking, and ventilation are the most important.
Refrigeration
In a luxury kitchen, you should expect either pro-style or integrated refrigerators.
A pro-style refrigerator has a compressor on the top, while an integrated refrigerator has a compressor on the bottom and can be concealed with a custom cabinet front.
Both options are either cabinet-depth or flush with the cabinet for better aesthetics.
Cooking
The professional range is the centerpiece of luxury cooking appliances.
You could also consider a wall oven, a rangetop, a cooktop, or a combination of all three.
This is the most important decision in your kitchen design, as it will dictate the flow of the space.
Pro ranges are centralized, while wall ovens offer more flexibility, allowing you to place them anywhere.
Ventilation
Ventilation is another key aspect of luxury kitchens.
You can choose a high-CFM pro hood or customize your vent with a wood enclosure.
Some companies promote downdrafts for their minimalist look, but they don’t adequately vent your kitchen.
Proper ventilation is critical because gas and induction ranges produce harmful pollutants that are best vented outside.
Ultimately, your top three priorities when designing a luxury kitchen should be cooking, ventilation, and refrigeration—in that order.
In traditional kitchen design, it’s best to position the main refrigerator on the outer edge of the kitchen, while keeping cooking appliances like the stove and oven central.
Having a smaller fridge nearby for easy access to pre-cut vegetables or snacks for the kids can also be very convenient.
Now that you know when and what to buy, it’s time to understand what to avoid.
The appliances are the same in every store, but what happens after your purchase is just as important as choosing the brand.
Real nightmares begin by overlooking these three problems.
3 Luxury Kitchen Appliance Problems
1. Delivery
Delivery, especially to tight areas around Boston, can be a challenge.
Before purchasing your appliances, make sure you have access to a reliable delivery service.
A delivery team must be able to lift and navigate 600-pound refrigerators and professional ranges through tight spaces and onto increasingly soft floors.
A lot can go wrong during the delivery of a Sub-Zero, Viking, or Thermador appliance, from damage to your home to damage to the appliance itself.
Never sign for a delivery without conducting a full inspection.
Check Google reviews for delivery experiences before buying from any store.
Download our free delivery checklist to compare stores—it’ll give you helpful questions to ask your dealer, builder, or cabinet shop.
2. Installation
Installation wasn’t a major issue until recently.
Typically, your contractor is responsible for installing your appliances. However, with the current labor shortage, installation may become your problem.
Installing specialized appliances is more difficult than ever.
Take the six-drawer Thermador refrigerator as an example. Our teams spend about three hours installing just one of these.
The cabinet and floor must be perfectly aligned, and each of the six cabinet fronts needs to be precisely cut.
That doesn’t always happen.
So, how does a builder install one if they’ve never seen it before?
Good question.
We now have 18 installation teams working daily, handling the installations contractors aren’t comfortable with.
3. Service
Service is the biggest challenge in this industry.
You’ll see all the top brands mentioned in this article, which likely match what most people say online.
However, service should be the deciding factor between these brands.
For example, if you’re deciding between Wolf and Thermador, the brand with better local service should be your choice.
Always inquire about service before making a purchase.
If the dealer doesn’t provide service, find out who they recommend.
Ask questions, do your research, and read reviews.
The average technician may not be able to handle your new Thermador range with a steam oven.
Make sure you know who can service your appliances in your area. If no local service is available, don’t buy that brand.
That goes for any brand.

The Best Luxury Appliance Brands for 2025
La Cornue
La Cornue, a French-made range company, is owned by U.S.-based Middleby.
Their ranges are completely customizable, with 50 color options.
What truly sets La Cornue apart is the ability to customize nearly every aspect of the range.
For example, you can buy Drake’s (the rapper, not the cake owner) range, the Château Suprême, for $130,000, as shown above.
Or how about a pink Suzanne Kasler range?
At Yale, we display La Cornue ranges in some of their most popular colors.
They also provide numerous options for the cooktop to come in.
Your La Cornue range could feature an induction cooktop, a grill, gas burners, a wok burner, a griddle, or a French top.
Since everything is made to order, almost any combination is possible.
The oven has an arched top for natural convection and can be customized as electric or gas.
Electric ovens are better for baking, while gas heat is ideal for roasting and broiling.
On the larger ranges, you can even buy one of each.
No other luxury brand on this list offers that kind of versatility.
Pros & Cons of La Cornue Appliances
Pros: La Cornue offers 50 colors and 10 trims to complement any style.
They also offer a lower-priced series called CornuFé, with standard convection ovens at more affordable prices, and now the same customization options as the Château.
Cons: Despite being highly customizable and visually stunning, La Cornue lacks smart features like a clock or timer.
The ovens are also not self-cleaning. And it’s 4-5 times more expensive than most luxury appliances.

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove
Sub-Zero
Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove are still some of the most well-known luxury appliance companies.
They are American-owned, family-operated, and manufacture their products in factories located in Arizona, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
Sub-Zero offers the widest selection of refrigerators in various sizes.
Their focus is on keeping food fresh for longer, with features like vacuum-sealed doors, air filtration, and an air purifier.
Sub-Zero’s air purification system removes ethylene gas emitted by spoiled foods to keep produce fresh.
They recently updated their refrigerators with “Split Climate” technology for better air circulation in the crisper bins.
They are also considered the best for preserving wine, as their units protect against light, heat, humidity, and vibration, which can all damage the tannins in wine.
Sub-Zero has three series:
- Pro Series: Features stainless steel inside and out, designed to emulate a restaurant refrigerator.
- Built-In Classic Series: Available in 30, 36, 42, and 48 inches, this series offers several configurations, including bottom mount, side-by-side, and French door. You can choose between stainless steel or panel-ready finishes.
- Designer Series: Available in 18, 24, 30, and 36 inches, this series includes refrigerators, freezers, and combination units. The Designer Series is made to fit seamlessly into cabinetry and is designed for panel-ready installations only. If you prefer stainless steel, you’ll need to order separate stainless panels.
Wolf
The Wolf line includes ranges, rangetops, cooktops, and wall ovens, all featuring menu-driven controls.
Wolf dual-fuel ranges come equipped with the VertiFlow convection system, which uses twin convection fans and extended elements for even cooking.
In 2022, Wolf expanded its Wolf Gourmet Auto cook system to their dual-fuel ranges, adding an LCD screen and smart integration.
With Wolf Gourmet, you can easily cook by selecting how you want your food done.
The range automatically sets the optimal time, temperature, and rack position, making the process more efficient and hassle-free.
Along with BlueStar and La Cornue, Wolf offers a French top configuration. A French top allows you to cook multiple foods on the same surface at different temperatures.
Wolf also offers a full array of speed and steam-cooking products.
Their rangetops and cooktops are powerful, with extra-low simmer settings on all burners.
Based on over 33,000 service calls logged last year, Wolf and Sub-Zero are among the most reliable luxury appliance brands.
Pros & Cons of Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Appliances
Pros: Sub-Zero refrigerators keep food fresher for longer, thanks to features like air purifiers and sealed doors.
Wolf offers easy-to-use ranges and cooktops with even heating and smart cooking guides.
Both brands are known for their reliability and high-quality craftsmanship.
Cons: While Sub-Zero may be the most reliable refrigerator brand, it’s also one of the most expensive.
Wolf’s gas pro ranges could benefit from updates, such as adding self-cleaning options and increasing burner output (though their grill, griddle, and French top are among the best available).

Gaggenau
If you’re looking for truly unique appliances, Gaggenau, with its modern yet minimalist design, is an excellent choice.
Gaggenau is the best appliance brand for experienced chefs.
Their wall ovens offer 17 different cooking modes for various types of food and can be adjusted in one-degree increments.
You can also control the percentage of steam in their wall ovens, ensuring your food is perfectly cooked.
The wall ovens feature side-swing doors, making accessing your food easier than traditional drop-down doors.
Their cooktops feature powerful brass burners with a high output of 18,800 BTUs.
They also include built-in safety features: if the flame goes out, the burners automatically re-ignite, and if the gas fails to light, the system shuts off.
On the 400 series, the knobs are mounted on the cabinet façade, creating a sleek, modern look. These knobs are backlit, making it easy to see when the cooktop is on.
Their coffee system can brew 34 different types of specialized coffee.
I didn’t even know there were 34 coffee combinations.
Pros & Cons of Gaggenau Appliances
Pros: Gaggenau excels in precision cooking, and its unique styling ensures your appliances will stand out.
Cons: Gaggenau’s controls are mode-driven rather than intuitive, like Miele and Wolf. It’s ideal for experienced chefs, but you’ll need to learn how to use it.
You can achieve more with Gaggenau, but it has a learning curve.
Their refrigeration is similar to Thermador but comes with a higher price tag.
True Refrigerators
True is an American-made, family-owned company based in St. Louis.
They are the largest of the three refrigeration brands on this list (and as a company, we like to support all three).
How big is True?
If you’ve ever pulled ice cream out of a Whole Foods freezer, it was likely stored in a True freezer.
The variety of models True manufactures is staggering.
I almost want a game room just to justify getting one of their refrigerators.
You can buy a True refrigerator in 36, 42, or 48 inches, or choose from their designer refrigerator, freezer, beverage, or wine columns—like the dusty blue model shown here:
True refrigerators come in 14 different color options and six hardware options for hinge accents.
It’s fun to explore all the possible combinations on their webhttps://shophjr.com/—imagine a trendy green refrigerator with burnished brass hinges.
True offers all-stainless-steel models, with or without a factory-made glass window. They manufacture most components in their St. Louis factory, including the glass.
Their undercounter products are approved and rated for outdoor use.
If you want a distinctive statement piece, True refrigeration is worth considering.
Pros & Cons of True Refrigeration
Pros: True offers stunning refrigeration designs and highly durable refrigerators.
Cons: You can’t add a custom cabinet panel to a True refrigerator.
They only sell refrigerators, freezers, and ice makers. Some of the larger models lack an ice maker or water dispenser.

Miele
Miele is another family-owned company based in Germany. It is known for its great styling, which other brands often imitate.
Miele developed their menu-driven MasterChef program and Steam Assist technology over ten years ago.
Their wall ovens and pro ranges feature Steam Assist, which introduces three bursts of steam and dry heat to cook your food perfectly.
Miele’s pro ranges and steam ovens also have M-Touch controls, making them simple to use.
The dual-fuel ranges include a steam assist feature that adds moisture to the oven while cooking.
Their ovens are equipped with the MasterChef guided cooking program.
Want to make sourdough bread? Just press the button for sourdough.
Want roast beef cooked medium-well? Select the roast beef option, enter the weight and desired doneness, and MasterChef will take the guesswork out of cooking.
Miele’s new G 7000 and lower-priced G 5000 series dishwashers, along with their compact laundry sets, are some of the best in the industry.
Their higher-end washers and dishwashers can automatically add the proper amount of detergent for optimal washing.
Pros & Cons of Miele Appliances
Pros: Miele offers fantastic cooking and cleaning technology. Their dishwashers and compact laundry sets are known for their unique cleaning capabilities and reliability.
Cons: Miele’s contemporary styling may not fit every kitchen. Their pro ranges are somewhat underpowered, with a 19,500 BTU burner in the front and only 12,000 BTUs in the back.

Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS)
SKS is the premium line of LG, a massive company based in Korea.
Like Miele, SKS makes technology simple and offers some unique appliances.
Their 48-inch range features 23,000 and 15,000 BTU sealed burners, induction cooking, and a sous vide panel on the stovetop.
A note about sous vide: it works. Cooking by water immersion provides the best, most evenly cooked results—even when reheating the next day.
The simmer burner on their stove is now one of the best for maintaining a consistent temperature at just 100 BTU.
Their ovens feature convection in the main oven and a full steam oven on the side. The steam oven is simple to use.
The SKS 48-inch refrigerator offers four drawers with two icemakers, including one for Craft Ice. One of the drawers can be set to function as either a refrigerator or a freezer.
Their column-style refrigerators boast the largest internal capacity and feature all-stainless steel interiors.
The entire SKS line is Wi-Fi enabled through LG’s ThinQ app.
SKS may not have the same brand recognition as other luxury brands, but they’re worth considering.
Pros & Cons of SKS Appliances
Pros: SKS appliances have solid reliability (so far) and are well-featured.
Their refrigerators offer a large capacity for more storage space, and they have the strongest 3-year warranty, guaranteeing repair or replacement within 5 days.
Cons: SKS has a limited product selection. Interestingly, their stovetops include a sous vide panel but offer no grill option.

Thermador
Thermador updated the styling of their lineup a couple of years ago.
Thanks to their Star Burner and Extra Low simmering features, their strength has always been in cooking.
Thermador’s professional ranges are reasonably priced and come in two series: the Pro Harmony and the Pro Grand.
Steam options are available in the larger 48—and 60-inch models.
Thermador offers some of the most extensive integrated refrigerators, now featuring new stainless-steel interiors.
Thermador refrigerators provide better bin storage, allowing you to push to open or pull with a handle.
They also offer a new four-drawer refrigerator with two icemakers, a convertible drawer, and a built-in camera.
Thermador has the most wall oven options, including side-swing doors, steam, and combination wall ovens.
Pros & Cons of Thermador Luxury Appliances
Pros: Thermador offers a wide selection of products across their lineup. The raised Star Burner is easier to clean than other designs.
Additionally, Thermador offers reasonable prices and good rebate programs.
Cons: Although their cooking appliances are new, they feature single convection only. They also lack the menu-driven controls found in brands like Wolf and Miele.
BlueStar
Their new dual-fuel range is impressive. It features the X-8 sealed burner, which delivers 25,000 BTUs on the front burners and 18,000 BTUs on the back.
They’ve also added a seven-inch LCD clock and touch controls to their dual-fuel range.
BlueStar specializes in ranges, offering professional models from 24 to 60 inches across six series.
BlueStar ranges offer options such as a French top, grill, and griddle, and a 36-inch model with French doors.
BlueStar offers pure convection in their all-gas Platinum series, with heat blowing in from the back, ensuring more even temperatures than traditional convection ovens.
Their professional refrigerators feature all-stainless interiors and are designed to fit a full sheet pan.
Additionally, you can completely customize your range with 1,000 different color options and ten trim choices.
Pro Tip: BlueStar uses the same compressors as Sub-Zero and fits into the same opening as a Sub-Zero Classic series fridge.
When it comes to color customization, BlueStar is the best on this list.
Seventy-five percent of BlueStar ranges sold at Yale are customized.
If you want a unique look in your kitchen, BlueStar—alongside La Cornue—is your best option.
Pros & Cons of BlueStar Appliances
Pros: BlueStar offers 1,000 color options, and you can customize your high-output stovetop configuration with many choices in every size.
Cons: BlueStar is not for everyone. Their gas ranges are basic, lacking clocks and smart functionality. BlueStar doesn’t offer a full line of appliances, focusing only on cooking, ventilation, and refrigeration.

Monogram
Monogram appliances have been completely revamped.
After 15 years, we decided to start selling Monogram again because their new features are truly compelling.
Their ranges now include 23,000 BTU sealed burners, infrared grills, and an articulating seven-inch display.
Monogram refrigerators feature an innovative design. Cold air flows above each shelf, and a crisper drawer can express chill or thaw.
Their dishwashers are equipped with specially designed bottle-wash features.
Stylistically, Monogram ranges stand out with brass accents on the burners and knobs.
Monogram also offers a solid rebate program, allowing you to get free products.
Their ranges offer excellent smart functionality through the SmartHQ app. This app integrates with Hestan Cue cooking technology.
It even enables the flame to adjust automatically to the desired temperature.
With the app, you can even customize the color and brightness of the knobs to match your kitchen décor and enhance your dining ambiance.
Monogram has its service network through GE, though they’re transitioning to Bodewell.
It’s hard to believe you could spend $30,000 or more on appliances without reliable repair services, but that’s the reality for many brands.
Monogram stands out by offering dependable service.
Pros & Cons of Monogram Appliances
Pros: Monogram provides an excellent service department, competitively priced products, a strong rebate program, and some impressive smart features.
Cons: The range selection is somewhat limited.
Viking
In many ways, Viking was the first luxury appliance brand, launching the first professional range in 1987.
Over the years, they’ve expanded their offerings to include a full suite of appliances.
Their top ranges are the Tuscany and 7 Series pro ranges. The 7 Series boasts their most powerful sealed burners, with an impressive 23,000 BTU.
The Rose Bold range is stunning, and their new Sherwin-Williams colors are worth checking out.
After years of challenges, Viking now has a promising new refrigerator line and an excellent CEO in Anne Purcelli. I really like Anne, by the way.
Pros & Cons of Viking Appliances
Pros: Viking offers an extensive range lineup, strong brand recognition, and a wide variety of colors—18 in the Tuscany and 19 in the 7 Series ranges.
Cons: Viking has had service-related issues, particularly with refrigerators and dishwashers.
Note: We do not sell or service Viking appliances, so check with your local dealer before purchasing.
Fisher & Paykel
Fisher & Paykel’s pro ranges are impressive, combining induction and gas burners for more cooking options.
Their 48-inch range includes gas burners with 23,000 and 15,000 BTUs, as well as induction burners.
This gives you the option to choose the cooking method that works best for each dish.
They also offer a 48-inch all-induction range, which Fisher & Paykel launched this year.
The large oven in this range boasts a 4.8-cubic-foot capacity and features 15 different oven functions.
The lineup also includes column-style refrigerators and a new 36-inch bottom-freezer model.
These refrigerators use ActiveSmart technology, which learns your habits and adjusts the temperature for optimal performance.
Fisher & Paykel’s unique DishDrawers are both practical and innovative. The two pull-out drawers operate independently, offering convenience and flexibility.
For additional capacity, you can also purchase a single-drawer model.
When it comes to wall ovens, Fisher & Paykel offers three series, each with distinct features and aesthetics.
All models are equipped with True Convection, ensuring consistent and even cooking temperatures.
Pros & Cons of Fisher & Paykel Appliances
Pros: Fisher & Paykel’s pro ranges combine gas and induction cooking to give you more options in the kitchen.
Their refrigerators, dishwashers, and wall ovens are thoughtfully designed with innovative features and flexible options.
Cons: The selection is somewhat limited. Column refrigerators are only available in 30-, 24-, and 18-inch widths, and the wall ovens are relatively small at 4.1 cubic feet.

AGA Range Company
Sometimes, the best products and ideas come from the direst circumstances.
The inventor of AGA lost his sight during an experiment and later founded the AGA range company. For years, the range was designed to be used easily by people who were blind.
The original AGA range had three ovens, each set at a constant temperature for different types of cooking. You never had to preheat the oven since it was always ready to use.
Today, AGA still offers classic cookers with ovens that stay on, though you can now shut off the hotplates for improved efficiency.
In addition to these traditional-style ranges, AGA also offers more modern models.
AGA remains popular for its larger models, especially the 48-inch induction range, offered at a lower price point.
The Elise and Mercury series are AGA’s most popular traditional ranges.
Both series are available in 36- or 48-inch sizes, with dual fuel or induction options and similar features.
The cooktops have a high output of 17,000 BTU, while the main ovens feature True Convection with seven different cooking modes.
The 36-inch model has one large True Convection oven, while the 48-inch model has three ovens: one True Convection, one standard convection, and a top-down broiler.
The main difference between the two lies in their styling.
The Mercury has a more contemporary look, while the Elise offers a modern farmhouse aesthetic, featuring cruciform knobs with knurling.
Pros & Cons of AGA Appliances
Pros: Beautiful, unique ranges in très fashionable colors.
Cons: AGA only offers ranges, and “unique” can sometimes be a drawback.
Who Isn’t on This List
Amazingly, some appliance stores promote up to 150 brands on their webhttps://shophjr.com/s.
We only service what we sell.
Providing quality service for 150, 75, or even 40 brands is impossible.
That’s why we carry only what we believe are the best and most reliable brands, backed by strong technical support.
Here are a few other high-end brands:
- JennAir: JennAir created some buzz with its new lineup in 2018. Theirwall ovens are decent and even show you how the food looks after it’s cooked.
- Dacor: Dacor was the first to introduce a 30-inch convection oven in 1985. Although Samsung has since acquired Dacor, they still produce solid ranges and refrigerators.
- Officine Gullo: Another beautiful, La Cornue-type company offering unlimited customization.
Customizing Your Luxury Kitchen
You can customize your kitchen with specialty appliances such as:
- Coffee Makers: Wolf, Miele, and Gaggenau will allow you to brew your own coffee. My sister brews a delicious blueberry latte in her Miele coffee system.
- Steam Ovens: Steam makes almost any food taste better by adding moisture and retaining nutrients. Regular ovens and especially microwaves bake out nutrients, texture, and flavor (I have a steam oven and love it).
- Speed Ovens: Speed ovens are microwave and convection oven combinations, so you can cook in a microwave or smaller oven. However, you can also cook in combination ovens without the microwave texture.
- Warming Drawers: A warming drawer will allow you to keep food warm for up to three hours with dehydration. It’s great if you cook and serve at different times.
- Undercounter Refrigerators or Wine Units: You can do almost any configuration in refrigeration, from drawers to wine units to beverage centers (combo refrigerator and ice maker), ice makers, and separate freezers.
Do Luxury Appliances Need to Be Smart or Wi-Fi Enabled?
Many manufacturers promote smart technology or the ability to operate your appliances remotely.
Smart appliances offer great potential and are rapidly evolving.
Some brands have tie-ins with platforms like Innit, SideChef, and Hestan Cue, offering step-by-step guidance.
On the other hand, brands like Aga and La Cornue offer no smart functionality—not even a clock.
In summary, while smart technology and Wi-Fi are nice features, they aren’t essential for a luxury kitchen. It depends on how you cook and whether you’ll actually use the apps.
How Much Does a High-End or Luxury Kitchen Cost?
A high-end kitchen typically costs between $30,000 and $70,000, which includes a professional range, refrigerator, professional range hood, and dishwasher, depending on the brand.
However, prices vary between brands and options.
For example, a La Cornue range can cost as much as $150,000.
Adding other elements like a coffee system, speed oven, and wine storage can easily push the cost up by $25,000 or more.

Key Takeaways
Luxury appliances have evolved into some of the most advanced products in your home.
You’ll be happy with any number of brands on this list—it all depends on what you value most.
However, service can be a problem in certain areas.
You might expect “Lexus” or “Mercedes” service, but many companies on this list don’t offer their own repair services.
As you explore your options, make sure to check whether repair services are available for the brands you’re considering.
You’ll love cooking on a professional range, induction cooktop, or steam oven—just make sure you can get it repaired if needed.
